A word from the head teacher
“A madrasah that does not intimately understand its age will inadvertently fail the very children it exists to serve.”
What we teach is thoroughly traditional: the way of the Ahl al-Sunnah wa’l-Jamā‘ah. What we have set out to change is the delivery — the structure, the systems, and the tracking of every child’s progress.

A structured pathway
Beyond EL3 →Children join at the stage that fits them and progress as they are ready, not by age alone.
I
Nursery
Letters with correct makhraj from the first day, elementary duas, and the names of Allah and His Beloved ﷺ — in warmth and play.
II
Essential Level 1
Letters turn into words, words into verses — with the fundamentals of Islam, the daily duas and the stories of the Prophets.
III
Essential Level 2
Reading develops into recitation with tarteel. General knowledge broadens into structured aqidah, fiqh and the Sirah.
IV
Essential Level 3
Tajwid theory applied, aqidah internalised rationally, the intricate rulings of fiqh, and their place as a Muslim in the modern world.
The curriculum
Fiqh
فِقْهPurification, salah, fasting and the rulings of daily life — not only that they must pray, but how and why.
Islamic history
تَارِيخThe Sirah, the companions, and the grandeur of Islamic civilisation, carried as an inheritance.
Tasawwuf
تَصَوُّفThe science of the heart: etiquette, morals, piety and the implementation of religion in personal life.
Tafsir and hadith
تَفْسِيرIn the higher classes, the meanings of the Quran and the words of the Prophet ﷺ.
Quran with tajwid
تَجْوِيدTaught under qualified reciters, until a student can open any page and recite it correctly.
Memorisation
Surah al-Duha to Surah al-Nas as a minimum, with the Prophetic duas of daily life. Spaced repetition runs across the year and across years, with randomised tests, so earlier learning is genuinely retained.
Every child, measured fairly
A child can be near the top of the class and still be underperforming; a lower position can be an overachievement. We track attendance, age, prior results and teachers’ notes to set an individual target for each student.
